She tragically lost her battle with mental health in 2024. Her husband of more than a decade passed a few years prior due to an asthma attack in their home. After his passing, Valerie was passionate about funding for asthma advocacy. They are why we&#8217;re partnering with the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) to host the inaugural\u00a0<b>The Valerie &#8211; Shining a Light Golf Tournament<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Join us on Friday, May 29, at Braemar Golf Course in Edina, Minnesota. Shotgun start is at 8 a.m., followed by a luncheon and awards at noon after golf. We would love to see you. All are welcome! If you are unable to attend, <a href=\"https:\/\/aafa.rallybound.org\/TheVal\/Donate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">you can make a donation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>All donations will go to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA), which is the leading patient organization for people with asthma and allergies.
