Asthma Day 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) celebrates <a href=\"https:\/\/ginasthma.org\/world-asthma-day-tuesday-may-5-2026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">World Asthma Day 2026<\/a> with the theme of \u201c<strong>Access to anti-inflammatory inhalers for everyone with asthma \u2013 still an urgent need<\/strong>.\u201d GINA continues to emphasize the need to ensure that all people with asthma can access inhaled medications that are essential for controlling the underlying disease and treating attacks.<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">On World Asthma Day, AAFA will host a press briefing at the U.S. Capitol and visit congressional offices<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202f<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">to call attention to challenges faced by people with asthma and allergies.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">We will
